Having to cancel a booking due to a broken appliance or plumbing issue is costly and damaging to your reputation. Schedule routine preventive maintenance to catch problems before they affect a guest's stay.

Safety

Regular safety checks protect guests and reduce your liability. At a minimum:

• Smoke alarms and CO detectors should be installed and working.
• A basic first-aid kit should be available and easy to find.
• Emergency contact information should be left somewhere visible for every guest.
