How to Handle Difficult Guests
A guest who doesn't respect the rules can affect your property and the surrounding community. As the owner, you're responsible for managing the situation. Here are three steps Grupo Select recommends.
1. Talk it out
Sometimes a direct conversation is all it takes. The guest may not even realize what they're doing. Most issues get resolved at this stage, but if the behavior continues, move to the next step.
2. Send a written warning
A polite but clear message outlining the problem and the consequences if it continues. Keep it professional. This creates a paper trail if you need to escalate.
3. Legal action
A last resort. It takes time and energy, and it raises the tension with the guest. If you reach this point, get a good lawyer involved.
